Having 2 years gap, Will it affect my Placements??

Will 2 years gap between 12th and B.Tech, affect my Placements????

Ok, if you have a genuine reason for your drop then it may not be an issue but if you don’t have a reason then you may be in trouble as companies ask for the reason for gap in your education.

Many of Companies require not more then 2 year education gap with valid reasons.

Only MNC companies asking for the Gap Issues, remain all the companies are not a problem for year gap.

The MNCs companies for placement to recruit freshers will have three 4 set of rounds –

Aptitude Test.
Group Discussion
Technical Interview
HR Interview.

Well it will not affect your placement, placement is all about how you perform doing B.Tech

Few companies are allowed only one year gap but the maximum no of company consider two year gap so no need to worry

But during placement you should have a valid reason for your drop, if by chance they ask you.

If you have an employment gap then expect that your interviewer will ask about it. So the best way to answer is being brief and direct, leave out unnecessary details and do not give out too much information. Try to add a positive note telling the interviewer that you are already very eager to start working again.

Just stay positive and do not let this matter stress you out during your job search.
