AIT was founded in August 1994, as a result of the vision, and untiring efforts of Gen B.C Josh it is one of the repotted college of Army in the country having lots of facilities As you are asking about admission Process in AIT here I am providing you the same please have a look on that You can get admission in AIT when your rank would be good in the Joint Entrance Exam of All India Level (JEE) Main - 2014. This will comprise of score in JEE (Main) and normalized score in Class 12 or other qualifying exam (60% & 40% weight age respectively). Age Criteria is as follows The candidate must fulfill the age criteria requirements as per JEE Main 2014 i.e., Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October 1989 are eligible. The date of birth recorded in the matriculation or equivalent (Class X) certificate or in the Secondary Education Board / University Certificate only will be accepted as proof of age. Here I am providing the information regarding the Admission Procedure of Army Institute of Technology which you are loking for . Army Institute of Technology offers 300 seats for Engineering Course commencing in July 2015 . 120 seats in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering 60 seats each in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology Eligibility Criteria The parent should have completed minimum 10 years of service in the Army. Children of serving/retired Army personnel are eligible. Applicants must pass Class XII or equivalent (appeared or passed) with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Applicants Must be an Indian citizen, or a PIO who obtains Indian citizenship before admission. Admission Procedure AIT admission is based on the Rank obtained in JEE Main 2015. Admission at AIT, Pune, will tentatively take place two weeks after the date of declaration of JEE (Main) All India Rank. Applicants apply for JEE Main 2015 ‘Online’ in the month of November 2014. JEE Main 2015 will be conducted in the month of April 2015. AIT Application Form Online application form can be filled in the month of April/May 2015 on AIT website Cost of application will be informed by the month of Feb 2015. The JEE (Main) Roll Number must be endorsed on the AIT Application Form before submitting it to AIT. Last date for submission of completed Application Form is 30 Apr 2015.
