Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for filling vacant seats of Teachers for classes I to VIII by eligible candidates. Following are the details of it: Eligibility: Educational Qualifications for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) Teacher The applicant should pass in Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. Educational Qualification for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) Teacher The candidate should have Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Important dates: Date & Time of Paper- II Examination (Classes VI-VIII): 16 February 2014 at 09.30 TO 12.00 Hrs. Central Board of Secondary Education has published notification for recruitment of Teachers for Classes I to VIII through Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Eligibility Criteria: For Classes I-V (Primary Stage): Applicants must pass Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Applicants must pass Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Applicants must be Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education Graduation with 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), OR Applicants must pass Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Applicants must pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR Applicants must pass Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education). Selection Process: Applicants will be selected based on Examination. Important Dates: Starting Date for Submission of On-line Application: 18-12-2014. Closing Date for Submission of On-line Application: 08-01-2015. Download Admit Card from Board’s website: 02-02-2015.
