RAW Recruitment Procedure

As you want to know about the procedure and minimum criteria required for joining RAW
here i will giving detail you for the same

R.A.W --- RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS WING

This is conducted by UPSC every year

U.P.S.C -- UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

RAW comes under Intelligence Bureau
The minimum age should be 21 years
Maximum is 30 years
The minimum height could be 165 cms

RAW is an external intelligence agency of the MoD.
You have to be a postgraduate degree holder in social sciences or law graduate inorder to eligible for these courses.You must have Personal traits and
Much importance will be given to the employess if you have the following qualities.

*Physical fitness
*Stamina
*Mental alertness
*Logical and rational thinking
*Keen observation powers
*Eye for details
*Willingness to travel
*Ability to adapt to long working hours
*Analytical thinking
*Willingness to work in adverse conditions and dangerous territories.


These are 2 career in Intelligence under which lots of other courses come under like

*Diploma in Criminology
*Diploma in Criminology and Criminal Administration.
*MSc in Criminology.
*Forensic science.
*Diploma in Criminology and Legal science and many more

Research & Analysis Wing (RAW ) is primary external intelligence agency of Republic of India. It was formed in 1968.
RAW recruits its officers mainly from IPS, IAS and Military Officers. Executive grade officers like Field Officers & Field Assistants are recruited through Cabinet Secretariat.

RAW doesn't recruit directly it pick candidates from Army, police or other forces basically, but it also recruit from general public, eg: universities, corporate houses etc. RAW approach after keeping an eye on suitable candidate & then offer a job. There is no way you can directly approach RAW, they have no website or info of any type on net, if they like you they will come to you.
