I want to give the exam of All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test so I want to get the details of reservation of seats under All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test so can you provide me that? The All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is a yearly college entrance examination in India. It is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges around the country. According to Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) there are 2156 MBBS seats and 249 BDS seats which will be filled under 15% All India Quota Seats through AIPMT in first and second round of counseling. As you want to get the details of reservation of seats under All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test so here is the information of the same for you: Reservation of Seats: As per Government of India set of laws students who belonging to one of the categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria and the categories are— Other Backward Classes (OBC) if they belong to Non Creamy Layer (NCL) Scheduled Castes (SC) Scheduled Tribes (ST) AIPMT 2014 Reservation of Seats in percentage: Reservation will be made as per following details in 15% All India quota: Other Backward Classes (OBC) — 27%, these seats are reserved for non-creamy layer OBC students in Central Educational Institutions only according to Hon’ble Supreme Court order dated 10.04.2008. Reservation would be appropriate to the castes stated in the Central list of OBC. Therefore, the students falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column in application form. Students from creamy layer and do not come under Central List are give advice to state their category as General as per Reserve Seat for AIPMT 2014 SC — 15% ST — 7.5% Physically Handicapped — 3%, these seats are reserved on horizontal basis for Physically Handicapped students. There is 3% horizontal reservation for Physically Handicapped persons (only for locomotory disabilities of lower limbs between 50% — 70%, given that in case any seat in this 3% quota is not filled due to non-present of students with locomotory disability of lower limbs between 50% — 70% then any such empty seat in this 3% quota shall be filled up by persons with locomotory disability of lower limbs between 40% — 50% previous to they are integrated in the seats of relevant group) in 15% All India UG quota seat as per AIPMT 2014 Reservation of Seats
