Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) is a premier Institute regarded high amongst the nationally reputed Engineering Institutes in India. BITS has its main campus at Pilani - Rajasthan.

For admission in BITS candidates have to give BITSAT and have to secure good in BITSAT.

Eligibility for Admissions:
Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have adequate proficiency in English.

Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2012 or who will pass 12th Examination in 2014 only are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2015 test.

Direct Admission to Board Toppers:
The Institute gives direct admission to first rank students of all the central and state boards to the program of their choice.

Important Tentative Dates for BITSAT:

Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2015: 3rd week of February

Test centre allotment and announcement to candidates: 4th week of February

Candidates to reserve Test dates: last week of Feb to 3rd week of March

BITSAT Online tests: 2nd week of May to 2nd week of June

Candidates to apply for admission with 12th marks and Preferences to Degree programs: 3rd week of May to last week of June

Admit List and Wait List announcement: 1st week of July
