To become a pilot you have to choose science stream in 11th grade with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects …
After passing 12th with physics , chemistry and mathematics you can apply for commercial pilot training ..

Minimum eligibility criteria for Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) ::
You have to passed 12th grade with at least 60% aggregate in Mathematics , chemistry and Physics

To Become Air Force pilot you have to clear NDA exam after 12th and for this you must have Physics and Mathematics as a subjects in 11th and 12th.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is held every year under the supervision of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). It is held twice a year, in the month of April and September.

NDA exam eligibility-

10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects.

Age : 16-1/2 years to 19 years

Nationality : Indian

Gender : This is applicable only to men.

NDA Exam Pattern

NDA is the two level exam.
First level is the written exam and the next level is the SSB interview conducted by Staff Selcetion Board of the Defence services
.
Written exam consists of Two Papers of 2-1/2 hours duration consisting of 300 and 600 marks as given below.

Pattern of Written Exam

Mathematics 300 2-1/2Hr
General Knowledge 600 2-1/2Hr

The General Ability Test consists of:

Part A- English: 200
Part B- General Knowledge: 400

Mathematics: This paper consists of general mathematical topics till the+2 standard as given below:

Matrices and Determinants
Trigonometry
Analytical Geometry of Two and Three Dimensions
Differential Calculus
Integral Calculus and Differential Equations
Vector Algebra
Statistics and Probability

General Mental Ability consist of quesions from

Physics (100)
Chemistry(60)
General Science (40)
History (80)
Geography (80) and
Current events(40)
