Default Re: Is it better to go for IMA written exam or for OTA exam?

The Officers’ Training Academy and Indian Military Academy both has their own value and both are good, it is quite tough to say which is better. The admission in to the both is made through the Combined Defence Services Examination (Overview). Following are the details of it:

Eligibility:
For the both examination, the applicant should have a Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Scheme of Examination:
(a) For Indian Military Academy
1. English (Objective type) 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge
(Objective type) 100 Marks
3. Elementary Mathematics (Objective type) 100 Marks
Total 300 Marks

For Officers’ Training Academy
1. English (Objective type) 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge (Objective type) 100 Marks
Total 200 Marks

You should choose one of these according to your interest…………………
