Each part serves a different principle to the overall operation of the motorbike. In sociology, social institutions, such as economy and government, are the 'bike parts' and the overall society is the 'bike.' Social institutions are established sets of norms and subsystems that support each society's survival

Each society has its self social institutions. These are not buildings or places, but structures of relationship, obligation, role and function. These are social concepts and practices, but also involve cognitive structures. Members of a society have a similar mental concept of right and wrong, order and relationships, and patterns of good (positive values). Those who do not honor these concepts are “criminals,” or at least antisocial.
Some of the major functions of social institution are as

THE BASIC INSTITUTIONS

FAMILY

RELIGION

GOVERNMENT

EDCATION

ECONOMICS

FUCTIONS OF SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS
1.. Institutions hold Other Institutions.
2. Institution describes Dominant Social Values.
“Bill of Rights”
3. Institutions launch Permanent Patterns of Social Behavior
Monogamy
4. Institution convince the Basic Needs of Society
“Adultery”.
5. Institutions Provide Roles for Individuals .
Wife and Husband

Indian Social Institute was recognized 1951 in response to the challenges of nation-building and a new emerging social order in an independent India. The dream of the institute is to build a just, humane, secular and democratic Indian society wherein the poor and marginalized communities cherish equality, dignity, self-determination, justice, peace and agreement.
