National Institute of Technology, Durgapur is a public engineering college, was founded in 1960 and has been recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007.

Admission Procedure for MSc chemistry

The selection for M. Sc. programme in Chemistry is based on 50% weightage on written test, 30% weightage on the Honours/ concerned subject marks and 20% weightage on viva-voce.
Admission of a student to the M. Sc. programme shall automatically stand cancelled if he/she fails to attend minimum 75% of classes during the first three weeks from the date of his/her admission.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc. Chemistry
Must have passed 3 Years regular B. Sc. (Hons./Pass ) with minimum of 55% marks in concerned subject
