Will you please tell me that should I apply only Online for Kerala MCA Entrance exam??? Is there any other application mode for Kerala MCA Entrance exam???

Kerala MCA Entrance Exam is carried out by the Government of Kerala for the admission of candidates into the different institutes that offer the MCA course.

Eligibility Criteria
-You are supposed to be permanent residents of India.
-There is no age limit for this course.
-You are required to be graduates with Statistics or Mathematics.
-Those who are doing their final year are also suitable to apply.

Application Procedure

There are two methods to apply for the Kerala MCA Entrance Exam. They are--

Online
-The first thing the aspirants must do is to remit the exam fee from any branch of the SBT.
-Following this, they can fill the form online through the authorized website of the CEE.
-The form then should be printed and kept safely for further reference.

Offline Method
-Candidates can procure the form directly from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE).
-An alternative to this is to receive the form by post.
-To do so, the candidate must send a letter of request to the CEE along with a DD of the required amount.
-After the form is filled up, it is supposed to be mailed to the administrative center of the CEE along with all the proper documents.
-A DD of the necessary amount is also to be sent alongside it.
-The form should only be mailed either by Speed or Registered post.

Government of Kerala Commissioner of Entrance Exam is for eigible candidates for admission to MCA Courses in Kerala through Kerala CEE Entrance Exam.

Applicant should be an Indian Citizen

Qualification
The Candidates should have studied a Degree course with minimum 3 years duration ( after 10 +2 ), with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Application / Engineering and Technology as a Main / Subsidiary / Core subject at the Degree level.


The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in their Degree examination.

For SEBC and physically handicapped candidates, the aggregate marks required is 45%. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient.

The Candidates seeking admission to the course should be qualified from any University in Kerala or from any other Universities, recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.

Exam Pattern

Kerala CEE MCA Entrance Exam will be conducted for 2 Hours and will consist of 150 multiple choice questions.

Syllabus:
Mathematics (100 questions - objective type)

Algebra: Fundamental operations in Algebra, Expansion, factorization, simultaneous linear / quadratic equations, indices, logarithms, arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions, binomial theorem, permutations and combinations, surds, determinants, matrices and application to solution of simultaneous linear equations.

Co-ordinate Geometry: Rectangular Cartesian co-ordinates, equations of a line, mid point,intersections etc., equations of a circle, distance formulae, pair of straight lines, parabola,ellipse and hyperbola, simple geometric transformations such as translation, rotation, scaling.

Calculus: Limit of functions, continuous functions, differentiation of functions(s),Tangents and normal, simple examples of maxima and minima, Integration of function by parts, by substitution and by partial fraction, definite integral application to volumes and surfaces of frustums of a sphere, cone, cylinder, Taylor Series.

Differential Equations: Differential equations of first order and their solutions, linear differential equations with constant coefficients, homogenous linear differential equations.

Vector: Position vector, additions and subtraction of vectors, scalar and vector products and their applications to simple geometrical problems and mechanics.

Trigonometry: Simple identities, trigonometric equations, properties of triangles, solution of triangles, height and distance, inverse function

Probability and Statistics: Basic concepts of probability theory, Averages, Dependent and independent events, frequency distributions, and measures of dispersions, skewness and kurtosis, random variable and distribution functions, mathematical expectations, Binomial, Poisson, normal distributions, curve fitting, and principle of least squares, correlation and regression

Linear Programming: Formulation of simple linear programming problems, basic concepts of graphical and simplex methods

Computer Awareness: (40 questions objective type)
Computer Basics: Organization of a computer, Central Processing Unit (CPU), Structure of instructions in CPU, input / output devices, computer memory, memory organization, back-up devices

Data Representation: Representation of characters, integers, and fractions, binary and hexadecimal representations, Binary Arithmetic: Addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, single arithmetic and two complement arithmetic, floating point representation of numbers, normalized floating point representation, Boolean algebra, truth tables, Venn diagrams

Computer Architecture: Block structure of computers, communication between processor and I / O devices, interrupts
