CA CPT Exam Requirements & how to apply Online

Please provide the Chartered Accountants Common Proficiency Test exam requirement & how can i apply online.

The CA CPT Chartered Accountants Common Proficiency Test is the basic test to get entry in CA course.

This test is conducted twice every year in June & December.

Enter Requirements:
The Candidate who has passed Std X exam or equivalent can join CPT after registration with the Board of Studies & can appear after appearing for Std. XII.

The Candidates, who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA at the first attempt, are also eligible to apply.

How to apply
Candidates can register with the Board of Studies on submission of the prescribed filled in form.

Students can also download the application form online from the official website.

Applications for admission to Common Proficiency Test is required to be made in the relevant form as contained in the Information Brochure, which may be obtained from the Additional Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110 002 on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs.500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 500/- towards cost of application form and Information brochure) per application form.
