The Civil Services Officers' Institute (CSOI) is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act. It was set up in 1998.

Membership Eligibility

The serving and retired officers of the grade of Deputy Secretary to the Government of India from All India Services, and

- Group 'A' Officers of equivalent status working under the Central Government, and
- Those who are on deputation to PSU's and Autonomous Institutions located in Delhi and its Satellite Towns.

Types of Membership

Regular-
Those officers who are working or settled in NCR and approved by the Executive Committee. The membership is also given to members who are posted at outstation / permanently settled in their home towns.

Tenure Membership-
Tenure membership is granted to the officers of the All India Services / Group ‘A’ category of Central Services in the rank of Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries and Directors and its equivalents to the Government of India working in Delhi on Central deputation under central staffing Scheme with a cap of 500. They need to pay normal subscription but will not enjoy voting rights.

Life Time Membership-
Members can apply for the option by paying one time life time subscriptions as per their Age Block Table approved by Executive Committee. For outstation, Life time membership, member will submit copy of PPO, and Adhar Card.

Spouse membership-
On demise of member, spouse is entitled for membership till he/she is living by submitting death certificate of the member. No dependent cards are entitled. Full payment will be paid and voting rights are denied to this category.
