Reserve Bank of India (RBI) offers Young Scholars Award Scheme; this exposes youngsters to an actual banking and financial environment and inculcates a sense of pride in the selected ones of having had the opportunity to associate them with a prestigious organization.

Eligibility:

The applicant should have completed 10 + 2 years of formal education or its equivalent from recognized institutions/boards. Candidates who have qualified and worked at RBI as a Young Scholar in any of the previous years are not eligible to apply for this.

How to Apply
Candidates willing to apply for the scholarship may apply through the official page of the Young Scholars Award Scheme. There is no fee for application or examination.

Guidelines to apply:

Applicant should have a valid email ID.
Go to the website and follow the instructions.
After applying online, the registered applicant should obtain a system generated printout of the registered information and preserve the same to enable generation of call letters online.

Eligibility

Nationality:
Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Educational Qualification:
Candidate must be completed 10 + 2 years of formal education or its equivalent from recognized institutions/boards.

Undergraduate studies pursuing candidate can also apply.

Age:
Minimum age is 18 years.
Maximum age is 23 years.

Entrance Examination
The entrance exam will be conducted in English, Hindi and 11 other regional languages.
