I want to take admission in MSc Physics at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), so please give me its admission detail??

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is one of the most reputed and oldest universities in India which offer admission in M.Sc Physics through entrance exam conducted by this university.

Eligibility criteria for M.Sc Physics Entrance Exam
-You should have passed B.Sc or B.Sc (hons) course in Physics with minimum 50% marks.
-Only pass marks needs to be scored by SC/ST/OBC category candidates in graduation.

Tentative dates:

Date of availability of application forms: 2nd Week of February, 2014 to 2nd Week of March, 2014
Last date of receiving application forms: 1st Week of March, 2014 without late fee
Last date of receiving application forms: 2nd Week of March, 2014 with late fee Rs.150/-
Date of Examination: Last Week of May, 2014

-Exam consists of objective model questions
- It consists of 150 Objective model questions and its time duration is 150 minutes.
-Majority of the questions will come from subjects studied in B.Sc course level.

Admission to the M.Sc./ M.Sc. (Tech.) Programmes
Admission to all the M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech.) is on merit in the PET (Post-graduate Entrance Test). Admission to M.Sc. Biotechnology shall be made on merit through an All
India Combined Entrance Examination.

For M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Computer Science@,
Geography, Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, Home Science, (2 Year : 4
Semesters programmes) and M.Sc. (Tech.) Geology (3 Year: 6 Semesters programme)
B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc. under 10+2+3 pattern, securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of B.Sc. programme). The subject in which admission is sought must be an Honours

Subject at B.Sc. (Hons.) level/subject studied in all the three years at graduate level. However, for admission to M.Sc. in Botany/Zoology, a candidate must also have offered Chemistry as one of the subjects at the graduate level at least for two years. For M.Sc. in Statistics, the candidate should also have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at graduate level at least for two years.
