What are the Qualifications required for getting into CID??? Tell me the complete eligibility criteria………… Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is investigation agency of India, Recruitment of this Department is done with written and Oral exams conducted by Staff Selection Commission and UPSC. Eligibility criteria required to be CID Bachelor degree of any stream. Candidate must have age between 20 years to 27 years. Upper age limit relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates Physical Requirements Height- For men -165cms. For women -150cms Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms Chest- 76 cms. with expansion Eye-Sight (with or without glasses) Distant Vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye. NearVision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye regards Selection process- 1. Written test. 2. Physical test. 3. Interview. The Candidates who want to join central investigation department, they have fulfill the eligibility criteria which is prescribed by them. Here I am telling you the basic eligibility details: Qualification The Candidate must have a Bachelor Degree From any recognized University. and Final year students can also apply for the exam Age Limit 21 to 27 Years OBC Category: 20 years to 30 Nationality Must be an Indian PHYSICAL For Women: Minimum height is 150cm For Men: Minimum 160cm Minimum chest with expansion 75 cm Eye sight Distance vision 6/6 for the one eye and 6/9 for the another eye The recruitment exam covers following subjects: General Intelligence+Reasoning General Awareness Numerical Aptitute English Comprehension
