Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is being conducted for admission in to the M.Pharm programmes in Pharmaceutical Sciences to be conducted under the guidance of National Monitoring Committee, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The important dates for this examination are as following:

Registration Start date: 08-03-2014
Registration End date: 08-04-2014
Admit Card download Date: 29-04-2014
GPAT 2013 Exam Window Date: 16-05-2014 to 18-05-2014
GPAT Result declaration Date: 31-05-2014
Print out of Score Cards From : 31-05-2014 - 30-06-2014

Application Fees
General/OBC: Rs. 1200/-
SC/ST/PD: Rs. 600/-

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a computer based test (CBT) for PG Pharmacy (M.Pharm) admissions.

Important dates
Last date to register for GPAT
January 16, 2015

Admit card available from
February 2, 2015

Last date to download GPAT 2015 Admit Cards
February 24, 2015

GPAT 2015 Exam Dates
February 23, 2015 and February 24, 2015

Result declaration
March 27, 2015

Print out of Score Cards From
March 27, 2015 to April 27, 2015

Eligibility;
Applicant must be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Pharmacy.
Should have obtained the B.Pharm (4 years) degree after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates

Test Fee
Rs.1400 for General and OBC candidates
Rs 700 for SC, ST and PD candidates

Exam pattern
Total Number of questions in the exam is 125.
You can move back and forth between the questions in the online GPAT exam.
Total duration of exam is 3 hours (180 minutes).
For correct answers, you will get +4 marks in each question.
Negative marking is there in GPAT. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.

As you want to do M.Pharma from Manipal University and for it you want dates information for M.Pharma entrance exam , so I want to inform you that its M.Pharma entrance exam will be held between 26.05.2015 and 31.05.2015. you can select the test schedule of your choice in the Online Test Booking System.

Eligibility

You must completed BPharm from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission process
For General:


In Manipal university admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2015.

For Foreign/NRI Category:
In manipal university admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Note: you can apply either under General or Foreign/NRI Category. Those submitting applications under both General and Foreign/NRI categories will be considered only under the General Category. Change of category at a later stage will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Test Pattern:

Duration - 2 hours, there will be one question paper of 200 multiple choice question (MCQ), of the objective type. The approximate distribution of questions is as follows: Pharmaceutical Analysis (25), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (25), Pharmacology (25), Pharmacy Practice (25), Pharmacognosy (25), Pharmaceutics (25), Pharmaceutical Marketing, Management & Jurisprudence (25), Biochemistry, Pathology, Physiology, Microbiology and Biotechnology (25).
