Please provide me information about salary pay scale in merchant navy after passing 12th grade?

Eligibility for Nautical science and Marine engineering:
Candidates must have 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics.

He should also pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no color blindness.


Direct entry to Merchant Navy:

Direct entry to Merchant Navy is also possible as the students who have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) are eligible to join as Deck Cadets and a student holding a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Technology Engineering.

Rank-Trainee Navigation Officer (Deck Cadet)
Salary- Rs 25,00/- to 45,000/- pm

Rank-Third/Second Officer
Salary- Rs 90,000/- to 1,25,000/- pm

Rank-Chief Officer
Salary- Rs 2,20,000/- to 2,50,000/- pm

Rank-Master (Captain)
Salary- Rs 4,00,000/- to 5,00,000/- pm
