Income Tax Department, Government of India has issued notification for recruitment of the Inspector of Income Tax and Tax Assistant and other posts

Income Tax Department Vacancy Details:
1. Inspector of Income-Tax: 02 Posts
2. Tax Assistant: 20 Posts
3. Multi Tasking Staff: 03 Posts

How to Apply:
-Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with certificate copies of testimonials enclosed in an envelope
- Envelop should be super scribed with “Application for Appointment of Personnel Under Sports Quota-2013-14″ should reach by registered post or speed port or by ordinary post or directly on or before 24-02-2014 up to 05:00 PM.
-For candidates residing abroad and Andaman Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep Islands, Assam, Meghalaya and other far flung ares can send their applications on or before 03-03-2014 up to 05:00 PM.

Important Dates:
Last Date for Submission of Applications: 24-02-2014 till 05:00 PM
Last Date for Submission of Applications from the Far Flung Areas: 03-03-2014 up to 05:00 PM.

Age Limit:
-Your minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age is 25 years
-Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:
You should possess Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent for Post No.1 &2 and pass in Matriculation or its equivalent for Post No.3.

Eligibility:
-You must represented the Country in the Olympic Games (Senior Category) or secured at least 3rd position in World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category) or World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category) or Asian Games (Senior Category) or Commonwealth Games (Senior Category) for Post No.1,
-You must represented the country in World Cup or World Champions or Asian Games or Commonwealth Games or at least 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships or south Asian Federation or USIC Championships for Post No.2&3.

Selection Process:
You would be selected based on their performance in trails and interview.
