UPSC conducts exam for MBBS doctors not for dentists and name of this exam is UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

Educational qualification:-
one must have completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized university and must have secured at least 50% marks in MBBS.

Age Limit:-
Age limit is 21-32 years
Candidate must be physically fit to apply for the exam.
Candidate must be Indian citizen.

Exam Pattern:-
Duration of exam is 120 minutes.
The questions are multiple choice questions.
Total number of questions are 120.
Total mark is 250 for each paper.
For each wrong answer 1/3 the marks of the question is deduced.

You have to appear in two papers.
Paper 1 consists of General Ability, General Medicine & Pediatrics.
Paper 2 consists of Surgery, Gynecology & obstetrics, Preventive & Social medicine paper.
