As you want to know about the exam here is the detail of it UPSC conducts exam for MBBS doctors not for dentists and name of this exam is UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:- Educational qualification:- one must have completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized university and must have secured at least 50% marks in MBBS. Age Limit:- Age limit is 21-32 years Candidate must be physically fit to apply for the exam. Candidate must be Indian citizen. Exam Pattern:- Duration of exam is 120 minutes. The questions are multiple choice questions. Total number of questions are 120. Total mark is 250 for each paper. For each wrong answer 1/3 the marks of the question is deduced. You have to appear in two papers. Paper 1 consists of General Ability, General Medicine & Pediatrics. Paper 2 consists of Surgery, Gynecology & obstetrics, Preventive & Social medicine paper.
