Staff Selection Commission conducts the exam for the post of Junior Engineers for all the eligible candidates in Military Engineering Services. Eligible Criteria: Applicants in order to be eligible for the post of Junior Engineer must have a Degree or Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineer from any recognized institute/ college/ university for this purpose. The age of all the applicants applying for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) in CPWD and Department of Posts and Junior Engineers (Quantity Surveying and Contract) in MES should be between 18 years to 27 years respectively. The age of all the applicants applying for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in MES should not be more than 30 years. Application Procedure: The interested candidates may apply online from the website of SSC. The candidates are advised to go through the method of application in detail from the website before registering for the said position. Recruitment for Junior Engineer post in Military Engineering Services (MES) is made by Staff Selection Commission. Eligibility requirements: Qualification and experience: Civil Engineer: Candidates must be degree holders in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or Candidates must be three-year diploma holders in civil engineering from a recognized university or institution. Experience: Candidates must have two years experience in planning, execution and maintenance of civil engineering works. Electrical/Mechanical Engineer: Candidates must be degree holders in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or Candidates must have three-year diploma in Electrical/Mechanical engineering from a recognized university or institution. Experience: Candidates must have two years experience in planning, execution and maintenance of mechanical engineering works. QS & C Engineer: Candidates must possess three-year diploma in civil engineering from a recognized board/university . Candidates must have passed intermediate examination in building and quantity surveying Sub division II of the Institute of Surveyors. Age: Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age, Upper age limit is relaxable as : 5 years for SC/ST candidates, three year for OBC candidates Selection Procedure: Written examination Interview
