Both M.Tech. From IIT and the MS from USA are very good options & both are having almost same value. In India M.Tech from IIT is better but If you are thinking to work outside India and wish to work with research group then MS is needed. You are required to appear following entrance examination: For M.Tech. From IIT GATE scores required: It is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science. For MS from USA GRE scores required: It is a commercially run standardized test that is an admission requirement for many graduate schools in the United states.
