Do vel tech have entrance exam for M.Tech ARAI, IC Engines course? If so wot ll be the date of exam, last date to apply, hw to apply,wer to get application forms?

Here I am providing the information regarding Vel Tech M.Tech-ARAI admission details .

M.Tech Industry Stream Programmes are offered in the following Specializations.

Internal Combustion Engines 25 seats
Automotive Electronics & Embedded System

Automotive Mechatronics 25 seats

CSE (High Performance Computing Solutions) 25 seats

IT (Wireless & Mobile Computing) 25 seats

ECE (VLSI & Embedded System Design) 25 seats

Measurements & Control 25 seats

The Candidate should posses I class in his/her B.E. / B.Tech with relevant specialization and with good knowledge in fundamentals & communication skills.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates with minimum first class at UG level will be selected for admission based on their performance in written test & personal interview.

The Assessment Criterias are
25% - Percentage of marks scored in UG

40% - Written Test

25% - Personal Interview

10% - Ex-Tempo

Exam Pattern:

- It will be an objective type examination for 100 marks.

100 objective type questions will be asked.

Part A will have 100 questions from core specialization

Part B will have 25 questions from basics of Automotive Engineering.

No negative marking.

Duration will be 120 minutes for Part A & 30 minutes for Part B.

ARAI Course Fee Details:
Tuition Fee : Rs.1,10,000 per year Caution Deposit: Rs.5000 at the time of admission (Refundable) Exam Fee : Rs.7500 per annum Other fees : Rs.10,500

Tentative Dates:

The entrance examination date will be last week of June 2015
