Can BE final year students apply for CBI??? What are the basic eligibility criteria???

Yeah you are eligible to join CBI but after your completion of BE. After your graduation you have to apply for Combined Graduate Level exam to join CBI.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination for recruitment to various posts in central government departments/ministry.

SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam Eligibility-

Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
For the post of Compiler and Statistical investigator applicant should have studied Economics/statistics/ mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at the level of graduation.

For the post of Assistants (CSS), computer proficiency is also a compulsory requirement.

Candidate should be between 18-27 years of age on the closing date of the examination. (Relaxation in age as per Government rules)

All Indian Nationals are eligible. Apart from this subject of Nepal and Bhutan.

Physical standard required for the post of Inspector (Central Excise/Examiner/ Preventive).

Male Candidates:
Height 157.5 cms.
Chest 81 cms.
Walking: 1600 m in 15 mins.
Cycling: 8 Kms. in 30 mins.

Female Candidates :
Height 152 cms.
Weight 48 Kgs.
Walking: 1000 m in 20 mins.
Cycling: 3 Kms. in 25 mins.

For the post of Inspector CBI :
Height for male 165 cms and 150 cms for females.

Eligibility:
The candidate must be a citizen of India. The candidate should have done graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks; final year student of degree examination can also apply. The age should be between 21 to 28 years.

Selection:

The selection will be made on the basis of interview. The final selection will depend on the rules and regulations of CBI.
