ELIGIBILITY:
Upper Age : 30 years as on 1.1.2014

Minimum Qualification :
Management Trainee (Technical)

You have to pass a Degree in Engineering (full time) with 65% marks (average of all semesters), in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Electronics, Instrumentation, Ceramics, Civil, Computer Science (IT), Mining
or Chemical Engineering.

For Computer Science discipline, MCA (3 years full time) with 65% marks ( average of all semesters) are also eligible.

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is one of the largest steel making company in India and one of the top steel makers in world. It recruits Management Trainee vacancies in Technical & Administration Departments.

As per my knowledge Final year engineering students cannot apply for the post of MT or Management Trainee in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) as you do not fulfill the basic eligibility criteria which are:

Educational Qualification:
Degree in Engineering (full time) with 65% marks (average of all semesters), in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Electronics & Instrumentation, Ceramics, Civil, Computer Science, Mining or Chemical Engineering.

For Computer Science discipline, MCA (3 years full time) with 65% marks (average of all semesters) are also eligible.

Candidates who are applying Management Trainee (Administration) post for HR, Marketing and Materials:

Bachelor degree in any discipline with 60% marks (average of all subjects of all years) with minimum 2 years full time MBA/PG Diploma in Management with 60% marks in Human Resources/Personnel Management & Industrial Relations /Personnel Management /Masters in Human Resources & Organizational Development for HR discipline, Marketing for Marketing discipline and Production /Operations /Materials/Logistics/Supply Chain Management for Materials discipline.

Age Limit:
Candidate’s upper age limit should be 30 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Selection Process:
Candidates are selected on the basis of written exam, group discussion & interview.
