To get good job in railway you should qualify entrance examination conducted by the railway recruitment board. Following are some entrance examination for railway posts: SCRA Eligibility: The applicant should have First or second division, in the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. To get into railways jobs, one needs to qualify an entrance exam which is Railway Recruitment Board Entrance Examination. RRB exam are conducted on an All India basis by Railway Recruitment Boards. RNTC Exam - Railway Non-Technical Cadre Exam RTCG Exam - Railway Technical Cadre Exam RPF Exam - RPF Sub-Inspectors/Constables Exam RNTC Exam - Railway Non-Technical Cadre Exam Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification For lowest grade categories the qualification should be matriculation.For the posts like Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Assistant Station Master, Clerk Grade I, Guards, etc., qualification is a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University. Age The candidate age should be between 18 years to 27 years. Exam Pattern: The exam has following sections. General English (and/or Hindi) Mathematics General Knowledge General Intelligence RTCG Exam - Railway Technical Cadre Exam Eligibility: Educational Qualification The education will be varying by post. The qualification related to fields like Technical departments include civil, technical and mechanical engineering, signaling and telecom, and various others. Age The age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 27 years. Exam Pattern: The exam is for 90 minutes, contains following sections. General English General Arithmetic Analytical and Quantitative Skills and General Knowledge and Technical RPF Exam - RPF Sub-Inspectors/Constables Exam Eligibility: Education Qualification: For Executive Branch The candidate should have bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized University. For Fire Service Branch The candidate needs to pass Intermediate/Higher Secondary (10 + 2) with Science and Sub. Officers Course or its equivalent Diploma in Science or Fire Fighting For Constables The candidate needs to pass High School or equivalent Age The candidate age should be between 20 and 25 years for Sub-Inspectors. For the post of constable the candidate age should be 18 to 25 years. Physical Requirements for RPF Sub Inspectors / Constables Height Minimum: 165 cms (160 cms for SC/150cms for ST/165 for Ex-S) Height Minimum for Females: 157 cms for General/SC/ST/OBC Chest Minimum: 80 cms (76.2 cms for SC/ST) with expansion of 5 Cms Weight Minimum: 50 kg for SC and 48 kg for ST.
