How can I become pilot in India Air Force after 12th?

To become Indian Air Force Pilot, you can join NDA or National Defence Academy after 12th. National Defence Academy is the Defence Services Academy of all the three wings i.e. Army, Navy and Air Force.

Eligibility:

==Unmarried Males
==Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years
== 12th pass with Physics and Mathematics
== Physically fit and sound
== Minimum Height of 152 cms

Important Dates:

NDA Advertisements are released by UPSC in March and September every year. Aspirants must remember that UPSC releases advertisements 15 months in advance for courses commencing January and July every year. This is for permanent commission into the Flying Branch of the IAF.

To join in as a Pilot right after completing +2 is a good option and the way of you doing it is by writing the entrance exam for it and the exam which you would need to write is the NDA Exam.

NDA exam stands for National Defence Academy which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility:

You should be a 12th pass with Physics & Maths from a Recognized Board

Your age should not be less than 16.5 & not more than 19 years

You must be a citizen of India

Girls are strictly not allowed to participate in NDA exam.

Syllabus;

•Mathematics:- Algebra, Matrices & Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of Two & Three Dimensions, Different Calculus, Integral Calculus & Different Equations, Vector Algebra and Statistics & Probability.

•English: - The English paper will be designed to test students’ proficiency in the languages with verbal reasoning and usage of grammar.

•General Knowledge: - The GK paper will include subjects like Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and

•Current Events. For all the mentioned subjects in the paper, the syllabus will be from 10+2 level.
