Yes National Talent Search Examination is conducted for the students of 8th class.. From 2008-2009 National Talent Search examination'' will be held only for class VIII National Talent Search Examination organizes by National Council of Educational Research and Training Eligibility Before 2006, all students studying in Class X in any type of recognized school were eligible to appear at the state level examination from the state in which the school is located. As you want to appear in NTSE exam which conducted to identify students with extremely high intelligence and academic talent, a national level scholarship program is organized by NCERT named as National Talent Search Examination. This exam started in the year 1963 and this exam is organized just for 8th class students. Exam pattern: First Level Examination consists of Two Papers. (A) GENERAL MENTAL ABILITY TEST (GMAT): This paper consists of items on reasoning, analysis and synthesis etc. Total 90 Questions. (B)SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE TEST: (S.A.T) consists of 90 questions. Out of which 35 questions will be in Social Science which include History, Geography Civics and Economics 35 questions in Basic Science including Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 20 questions from Mathematics.
