Union Public Services Commission conducts the examination for the National Defence Academy (NDA)

Examination date
Tentative Schedule (Examination held twice a year)
Notification of Examination October - November & April - May
Conduct of Examination April - May & Sept. – Oct

NDA Exam Eligibility
-Age group should be in between 16-1/2 to 19-1/2
-10+2 qualified or appearing both can apply subject to prescribed age limit
-To select air force or Indian Navy, candidates must studied with Math and physics in 10+2. However, for Indian army, candidates need not to be of science background.
-Only unmarried male candidate are eligible to sit in written exam.
-Girls are not allowed to apply for NDA.
-No reservation in age allowed for SC/ST/OBC etc

The National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination is exam conducts for recruit candidates to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA). The National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year, generally in the month of March and August.

NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A candidate must be an unmarried male. The course of training is for three years.

Date of Notification was on 27th December 2014

The Online Applications (Part I and II) was filled from 27th December 2014 to 23rd January 2015 till 11.59 p.m.

Last date for submission of application was on 23rd January 2015

Date of Examination: 19th April 2015

Eligibility:

Nationality :

A candidate must either be :
1. a citizen of India, or
2. a subject of Bhutan, or
3. a subject of Nepal

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:

A candidate must be an unmarried male and have born not earlier than 2nd July 1996 and not later than 1st July 1999.

Educational Qualifications :

The applicant must have passed class 12th .
