The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited conducts requirement examination for the post of Junior Telecom Officer. The candidates will be recruited based on the entrance examination which contains objective type questions. This examination has following phases:

Telecom field: There will be three phases of exam.
Phases-I: Engineering stream-It will contain total 50 questions.
Phases-II: Engineering stream-It will contain total 50 questions.
Phases-III: General Ability Test-It will contain total 20 questions.

Electrical field: There will be three phases of the exam.
Phase-I: Electrical Engineering stream -It will contain total 50 questions.
Phase-II: Electrical Engineering stream-It will contain total 50 questions.
Phase-III: General Awareness-It will contain total 20 questions.
Civil field: There will be three phases of the exam.
Phase-I: Civil Engineering stream -It will contain total 50 questions.
Phase-II: Civil Engineering stream -It will contain total 50 questions.
Phase-III: General Ability Test-It will contain total20 questions.

Tentative dates:
Start Date of Online/ Offline Registration of Application Form: March, 2014
BSNL JTO Examination 2013 Date: April, 2014
Result Declaration: May or June, 2014

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited conducts the recruitment of eligible candidates in the post of JTO (Junior Telecom Officer) through online modes every year in the months of May-June.

A degree in Engineering (Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Electronics & Communication) with 50% marks is what is required for the minimum eligibility to apply in the concerned posts.

How To Apply:

Applicants can apply online for the JTO recruitment exam

Applicants need to log on to the official website of the BSNL

Fill the online application form

Attach scanned photograph

Send all the relevant documents like caste, educational, birth certificate with a registration form.

Exam Pattern:

The recruitment consists of a written exam conducted usually in the last week of April for all the applicants. The exam is an online objective type test comprising of three main sections.

Part 1: General Ability Test 20 Marks
Part 2: General Engineering 90 Marks
Part 3: Specialization 90 Marks
Duration of the Bank: 3 Hours
