NPTI (National Power Training Institute) is a modular type course of One year duration. On-job training is conducted at the near by Thermal Power Stations and the training on high tech simulator at NPTI, Delhi/Nagpur. To provide career opportunities in the Indian Power Sector, NPTI shall maintain close linkages with Power Utilities and reputed companies for employment of these trained Engineers. NPTI will not make any efforts for placement of sponsored Candidates. Eligibility: B.E. or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized Institution/ University with I Class/I Grade are eligible. The age limit is 27 years as on 28.02.2014. I don’t think that there is any problem in joining such institutes which are not providing any placement assurance, because if you have caliber you can place yourself in one of the top companies.
