Default DSP Exam Dates & Eligibility

Which is the eligibility criteria is required for Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), will you please provide here?

Civil Service examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission


Tentative Dates

Starting Date to submit the Online Form: 1st week of Jan.

Last Date to submit the Online Form: 1st week of Feb

Date of Preliminary examination: 1st week of May,

Eligibility:


The minimum Educational Qualification Required is a degree from a recognised University in any stream.

Age limit:

For General- 21yrs. 30 yrs.
For OBC - 21 yrs 33 yrs.
For SC/ST - 21 yrs. 35 yrs

Pay Scale
:
Deputy Superintendent of Police
Rs.15600-39100/+ GP Rs.5400/


Selection Procedure:


Selection of suitable and skilled candidates will be based on following tests-
Preliminary
Main examination
Interview

Preliminary Examination Pattern:-

It will consist of 2 parts- Part-I and Part-II and there will be 200 marks questions and 2 hrs time duration in each Part.
Part-I : General Awareness
Part-II : General Aptitude Test

Main Examination will consist of a written examination and an interview test.

Written Examination :

The Written examination will consist of seven papers of conventional essay type questions as given below:
Paper 1 : General Studies
Paper 2 : General Studies
Paper 3 : General Hindi
Every paper is of 300 marks.

Interview : Interview consist of 250 marks.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) is made through the State Police service and exam for the same are taken at state level by respective State public service commission.

Eligibility:
The applicant should have following criteria:

Qualification
A candidate must hold a degree of any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament.

Age limit

A Candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty-one) years and must not have attained the age of 30 (thirty) years on the first of January when the ads are posted. There is a relaxation for 5 years for SC/ST.

Physical Standards

There is a minimum physical requirement for becoming a state police officer.

Minimum height requirement for men are 168 cms and for women is 155 cms.

There is also minimum chest requirement of 84 cms and chest expansion of 5 cms.

Dates
Right now the dates has not announced, but most of time exam notification is in January.

And also know about the pattern of exam..
Actually i search on google.. but no information search here. Please its a request to you sir

i am dgree course completed. i can write the exam for Deputy superintendent of police. is possible or not possible
