Please provide me information about the age limit and number of attempts for UPSC exams ??

Here I am giving you information about the age limit and number of attempts for UPSC exams

Attempts :
General candidates: four attempts.
Scheduled Caste , Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

Civil Service Examination –
General-4,
OBC-7,
SC/ST- No restriction

IFS Examination-
General-4,
OBC-7,
SC/ST-No restriction

Age - limits:
21-30 years as on year of examination …

CDS

Indian forest service exam

Indian Administrative Services Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

Eligibility:-

Applicants must hold a degree of any of recognized University

Applicants appearing for their final year degree exam are also eligible

Applicants who have passed final year of MBBS exam but are yet to complete internship can apply for the prelim exam.

Applicants must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.

Age Relaxation:-

(i) upto a maximum of 5 years if a Applicants belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

(ii) upto a maximum of 3 years in the case of Applicants belonging to Other Backward Classes

Number Of Attempts

The total number of attempts for Civil Service exam has been increased from 4 to 6
