Default Re: Exam pattern of AFCAT exam

AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission test which is conducted by Indian Air Force. It is generally held twice a year, once in the month of February and 2nd in the month of August.

Exam pattern:
-Type of question is MCQs i.e Multiple
-Number of questions are 100
- Questions will be asked from the following sections- includes
General Awareness,
Verbal Ability in English,
Numerical Ability and
Reasoning/ Military Aptitude test.
-Total marks are 300 i.e 3 marks for each question.
-Duration of Exam is 2 Hours.
- 1 mark will be deducted for one wrong answer.

Each Question Paper will have questions from the following topics:-

General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.

Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability

Indian Air Force conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for candidates to recruit them to Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Officer Branches.

Exam pattern

There will be total 100 Questions are asked in exam

Each questions contains three marks

For every wrong answer one marks will be deducted as negative marking system.

Total two hours will be given to examiner

For EKT Student more 45 minuted provided in exam

Shore listed candidate will call for interview
