VAO Exam Age eligibility

Will you please me Age eligibility criteria for VAO (Village Administrative Officer) Exam??

TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) conducts examination to recruit for the post of VAO (Village Administrative Officer).

Eligibility Details:

Age:


-Your age should be above 21 years.

-Upper age limit would be 30 years for General candidates and 40 years for
Reserved Category candidates.

- Age should not exceed 40 years for SC/ SC (Arunthathiyars),STs,
MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes.

-Age relaxation upto 5 years is available for persons those who are affected
by the ban order as per the orders of the Government.



Educational qualification:

-You need to possess minimum SSLC/HSC/Degree with knowledge of Tamil
language.

- You must have studied the High School Course in Tamil Medium and passed
the S.S.L.C Public Examination in Tamil Medium.

- You must have passed the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil,
conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.



Written Test - Objective Type Questions

-General Knowledge: 100 questions carrying 100 marks

-General English: 100 questions carrying 100 marks

-General Tamil: 100 questions carrying 100 marks
