Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination NDA Scheme of Examination: Entrance Exam consists of two objective type question papers, a total of 900 marks with a time duration of 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper. Paper 1: Mathematics, 300 marks Paper 2: General Ability Test 600 marks. N.D.A. Exam (I) 2014 dates: Date of Notification (Saturday): 21.12.2013 Last Date for Receipt of Applications (Monday): 20.01.2014 Date/Day of Commencement of Examination (Monday): 20.04.2014 (Sunday) Duration of Examination: 1 Day Eligibility: -You must either be a citizen of India or citizen of Bhutan or Nepal or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the united republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethlopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. -Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than Jan 02, 1995 and not later than July 01, 1997 are eligible. -You should have passed 10+2 pattern of schools education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a University. The time allowed to write the paper is 2.5 hr. General Ability: The General Ability test comprises of two section i.e. Section A and Section B. The section A is of English (200 marks) and Section B (400 marks) is of general knowledge.
