The Defence Research and Development Organisation exam is the exam conducted by the DRDO annually for the engineering students. The DRDO Scientific Entry Test (SET) is normally conducted on all India bases on 1st Sunday of September every year. Following are the eligibility details of it:

DRDO Scientific Entry Test (SET)
The applicant must have first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline.

Age relaxation

Upto 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates
Upto 03 years in case of OBC candidates
Upto 05 years for Physically Handicapped Persons

Nationality
Only Indian nationals need apply

Syllabus for DRDO-SET
Chemical Engineering
Computer Science and Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Exam

Candidates should be a student of engineering stream from recognized college or university from the following branches only :

Electronics & Communication engineering
Mechanical engineering
Computer Science & engineering
Chemical engineering
Electrical engineering

Candidates should have at least 60% or first class for being eligible for exam .
Final year students can also apply for DRDO exam .

Age limits for DRDO Exam

Aspirants need to have age of 21 years to 30 years while applying for examination.
Relaxation for Categories is Given Below:

Maximum of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
Maximum of 3 years for Other (OBC's) .

Nationality
Only Indian nationals

Exam Pattern for DRDO Exam

Section A: 100 questions based on you stream of engineeirng.
Section B: 50 questions is on following topics :

Analytic skills
Current affairs
General awareness.
