The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination Main details are below;

IIT JEE Main

Eligibility:
The applicant should have passed in final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.

The applicant should have appearing in class XII final or equivalent examination in 2014 may also appear in JEE Mains 2014 examination provisionally.

The Candidates must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII.
Not Applicable for students who have passed in 2012 or 2013 with four subjects.

The Candidates passed Class XII in 2011 or before are not eligible to appear in JEE Main examination.
Only candidates passing in 2012/ 2013 or 2014 are eligible.

March 1, 2014 onwards.

IIT Joint Entrance Exam is conducted by the all Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), The IIT JEE is standardized test for admission in engineering and architecture colleges.

Eligibility:

Candidate have passed 12th with Physics, chemistry Mathematics/biology subject
Candidate should pass with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Number of attempts

An Applicant can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of 2 times and that too in consecutive years.

Exam Pattern:

Paper I: Physics, Chemistry, Maths
Duration: 3 hours

Paper II:

Maths: Part I
Aptitude Test part II
Drawing test Part II

Duration: 3hour

Admit Card Download From May 9, 2015 to May 12, 2015
Date of Exam May 24, 2015
