The UPSC conducts IES exam every year, here is the eligibility criteria: Age Limits: The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, 2013. Educational Qualification: The candidate must hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent. The M.Sc degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject also acceptable for certain posts. IES or Indian Engineering Services exam is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates in Government services. A student must be an engineering in any discipline. For the exam, the candidate has to choose one of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering. Mechanical Engineering. Electrical Engineering. Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Eligibility: The candidate should have degree in engineering from university recognized by UGC. That's why engineers of all the discipline are eligible for IES Exam. - Minimum age 21 years and maximum 30 years. - Candidate should be Indian. - Maximum 4 times attempt. - Reservation is applicable. So, Computer Science students are eligible to give the IES exam.
