The AFMC exam is held every year.

Physics, chemistry and maths comes of 10th,11th,12th.

It is not necessary that u can give AFMC exam after completing MBBS, you can give 5 to 6 tries of AFMC after 12th.

You want to join Army as a doctor, so here i am giving the doctors eligibility required in Indian Army:

Maximum Age Limit
30, 31, 32 years for MBBS Graduate, post graduate diploma holders and post graduate degree holder

Short Service Commission
maximum age limit is 45 years

Qualification
The applicants must complete medical qualification from indian university or foreign medical qualification recognised by medical council of india.

Medical Fitness

The applicant must be mentally and physically fit and fine.

You can join Indian army as doctor in two ways you can choice either way to apply in Indian Army as a doctor after completing your MBBS you will get so many benefits in the Army

The Armed Forces Medical Services is amongst one of the best options available to a medical graduate in our country.

Most of the postgraduate courses are conducted at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune and various other teaching hospitals of the Armed Forces.

Notification for the post of doctors (married/unmarried – male and female) in Indian Navy through SSC are published in leading newspapers once a year

The age limit for granting PC for different professional educational qualification is:

MBBS (Max. 30 years)

Post Graduate Diploma (Max. 31 years)

Post Graduate MD/MS (Max. 35 years)

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants must have the medical qualification of an Indian University or a foreign medical qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India.

They must also be registered with any of the state councils or equivalent registering authority.

A doctor who has done a house job and also a post graduate qualification will be eligible for a maximum antedate seniority of 42 months.
