Annamalai University lateral entry programs admission

I have done Diploma in engineering and now I want to apply for Annamalai University lateral entry admission in engineering course. Can I apply for this? If yes, please tell me how I can get selected for this program and from where I can get application form.

First of all you have not mentioned which lateral entry program you want the admission detail about.

I have the details of B.B.A. - Lateral Entry II year, which I have mentioned below:


The Admission particulars of B.B.A. - Lateral Entry II year

The duration of the course is Two Years

The eligibility criteria is given below :

(i) Second Year: Applicant who have passed in the First year examinations of any UG/ PG Degree Programme of a recognised University and where the Syllabus studied are common to the extent of as a minimum 75% with that of Annamalai University, may be admitted to the Second year of the same Degree Programme, if there is provision for such lateral entry.

Such applicants should give in attested photostat copies of their Marks Statement, Transfer/ Migration Certificate, and the Regulations and Syllabus of the Degree Programme studied, along with the application form for admission. Only after receipt of the Admission Card, they should send the Original certificates and Demand Draft towards tuition fees.

Those applicants who have finished the duration of a UG or PG Programme and have not been successful in the examinations, are not entitled for admission under Lateral Entry Scheme.

Admission for Lateral entry are made only in the DDE Office, Annamalainagar.

I am providing the procedures of lateral entry program in Annamalai University. You should follow this pattern given below for the admission process.

Second Year: If you want to take admission to the II year you should have successfully completed the 1st year of the study from any recognised university in the same discipline with atleast 75% of syllabi common to the University.

Third Year: If you want to take admission to the III year you should have successfully completed the 1st and 2nd year of the study from any recognised university in the same discipline with atleast 75% of syllabi common to the University.

You should enclose their original markslist, Transfer certificate/Migration Certificate along with evidence for Date of Birth and an attested xerox copy of the syllabus which you have studied along with the application.
