The UC Botanical Garden was established back in the year of 1890 and it is non profit garden and museum for the University of California at Berkeley and it has over 13000 different kinds of plants from around the world

Admission Cost:
Adults $10
Seniors (65+) $8
Juniors (13 - 17) $5
Children (5 - 12) $2
Children (under 5) Free
Student $8

Garden Hours
Daily: 9 am - 5 pm (No entry after 4:30 pm)
Greenhouses close at 4 pm
Closed:
The first Tuesday of every month, Thanksgiving Day, December 24 and 25, December 31, January 1, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. No entry after 4:30 pm.

The five best-represented families are:
Cactus family (2,029 accessions; 1,198 taxa),
Sunflower family (1,002 accessions; 771 taxa),
Orchid family (1,030 accessions; 711 taxa),
Lily family (1,097 accessions; 675 taxa), and
Heath family (979 accessions; 614 taxa).
