General graduate Admission Requirements
- You must submit an application fee
-You must hold bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution;
-You must secure satisfactory scholastic average, usually a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale;
-You must have enough undergraduate training to do graduate work in your chosen field.
- If you have completed at least one year of full-time academic course work with grades of B or better in residence at a recognized U.S. institution, you do not need to take a standardized test.
- At least three letters of recommendation are required.
- If your official language is not English then you are required to submit official evidence of English language proficiency.

To qualify for a TOEFL exemption you must:
-Have a "basic" degree from a recognized institution in a country where the official language is English
-Have completed at least one year of full-time academic course work with a grade of B or better from an accredited U. S. institution
-Have a basic or advanced degree from an accredited U. S. institution

There are two standardized tests you may take:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), and
International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

- Most departments, schools, and groups require a score of standardized test such as the GRE General Test, a GRE Subject Test, the GMAT or MCAT.
