Admission to Ph. D programme in Computer Science

Full-Time:
-You have to reside on the IIT campus for the entire duration of the Ph.D. programme.
- Department expects that every student will be resident for minimum 3 years.

Part-Time:
-You should be working in an industry/organization involved in computer science research/teaching and must be located within 50 Kms of IIT.
- if you are working more than 50 Kms away from IIT Delhi then you have to take minimum of 3 years leave from work to pursue Ph.D. at IIT Delhi.

Eligibility:
- You should have M.Tech. in Computer Science or a related discipline
- You must possess B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. in Computer Science or related discipline or MCA with a valid GATE score in CS/IT/ECE
- You should possess M.Sc in Math’s/Physics/Statistics with a valid GATE score in their subject
- If you have Graduation in Science/Engineering with an outstanding academic record and a valid GATE score then also be considered for admission.

Admission Procedure:
-You can download the application form from the IIT Delhi web-site and fill the form and attach a draft for Rs 300 made payable to the "Registrar, IIT Delhi" at New Delhi.
-The application can be sent at any time of the year.
