Here I am giving you information about the British university education system below :

Education in England is managed by the Department for Education and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Local educational authorities take responsibility for educational policy for public education and state schools at a local level.

The education system of England is divided into these stages :

Early years (ages 3–4),
Primary education (ages 4–11),
Secondary education (ages 11–18)
Tertiary education (ages 18+).

Higher education generally begins with a three-year bachelor's degree.
Postgraduate degrees include the following courses
Master's degrees,
The doctorate,
A research degree

Education in United Kingdom is managed by the Department for Education and Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

First Degree:

In UK, Normally students come in university in age of the 18 and study for an academic degree. The Students offers first degree in university which is known as bachelor’s degree.

The bachelor’s degree is normally for the 3 years. Many Universities offers undergraduates master's degree as a first degree, which is for 4 years.

Some universities offer a vocationally based foundation degree, which is for 2 years for those students who hope to continue on to a first degree but wish to remain in employment.

Postgraduate education:
The students who completed their first degree fall into post graduation degree. Following are the post graduation degrees in British universities.

Master's degree: for 1 to 2 years:
Doctorate: can be lasts up to 3 years.

Specialist qualifications:


Education: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Certificate in Education (Cert Ed), City and Guilds of London Institute (C&G), or Bachelor of Education (BA or BEd), most of which also incorporate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Law: Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Medicine: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, studied at medical school
Business: Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Psychology: Doctor of Educational Psychology (D.Ed.Ch.Psychol) or Clinical Psychology (D.Clin.Psych.).

Fees:

For under graduation degree paid £3,375 per annum.
