E-Science Institute (ESI) was founded in August 2001. Its main aim is to bring together the international experts to stimulate the creation of new insights in e-Science and computing science. The University of Edinburgh National e-Science Centre and e-Science Institute is a focal point for the international e-Science community to meet, exchange ideas and work on a broad collection of e-Science topics.
