Entrance Exam

All students, seeking admission to the MDS course shall have to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala.

All students shall have to qualify by securing minimum of 50% marks (40 % for SC/ST and SEBC candidates) in the Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala.

The entrance exam will consist of one paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice) Questions.

Criteria and Eligibility for Examination

Nativity-
The students should be an Indian citizen.
Certificate from a Village Officer or a competent authority to show that the student is a native of any State or Union Territory of India should be furnished in the prescribed format along with the application.

Academic Eligibility

Student should have passed BDS degree from any of the Universities in Kerala or from any other University recognized by any of the universities in Kerala as equivalent there to with eligibility for full Registration in respect of all courses.

Students who will complete one year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (CRRI) are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination, but admission to the student will be given only after obtaining Registration of Kerala Dental Council.

Age-The upper age limit for General Merit students shall be 45 years
