The Master of Computer Applications ( MCA ) is a post graduate degree in computer application streams awarded in India.

The Kerala MCA entrance examination is conducted by the the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.

Admissions to MCA course in most of the institutions in Kerala is based on the
Rank List of candidates appearing in this exam.

The entrance examination is conducted in the month of
July / August.

Eligibility
You should have passed Bachelors Degree course in any steam from any recognized u university with Mathematics at 10+2 level

Structure of Kerala MCA Entrance Exam

The paper is for duration of 2 (two) hours, and consists of 150 Objective Type - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

This question paper covering the following areas of study at graduate level:
Mathematics: 20 questions
Statistics: 20 questions
Physics: 20 questions
Chemistry: 20 questions
General Knowledge: 20 questions
General English: 20 questions
Fundamentals of Computer Awareness: 30 questions

List of colleges offering MCA course
The colleges offering MCA course in Kerala fall under 4 (four) categories:
1. Government Institutions,
2. Aided Institutions,
3. Government Controlled Self Financing Institutions, and
4. Private Self Financing Institutions.

There are three colleges under government institutions category:
1. College of Engineering, Trivandrum (30 seats),
2. Government Engineering College, Thrissur (30 seats), and
3. Rajiv Ganghi Institute (RIT), Kottayam (30 seats).

There are two aided institutions:
1. TKM College of Engineering, Kollam (25 seats), and
2. MA College of Engineering, Kothamangalam (25 seats).

There are three Government Controlled Self Financing Institutions:
1. College of Applied Sciences, Calicut,
2. College of Applied Sciences, Palakkad, and
3. LBS College of Engineering, Kasaragod.

This year, Kerala MCA entrance examination is expected to get conducted in the month of August 2011 in its first week. The forms will be available from last week of June 2011 and you will be able to get the forms from the official website of the Kerala Examinations Commissioner.

The total marks will be 150 and the papers will consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

I want to take Pune university MCA entrance exam 2012 so please give me key dates of the exam and also tell me if I apply online for this exam and pay the application fee through DD, will the institute accept it.
