All the major financial organizations and stakeholders came together to for 20th world Conference of Banking Institutions to promote Banking Education and Training. There are more than 100 organizations in the world which aims on this particular topic.

The first such conference was held in 1975 in Edinburgh, U.K.
This year it was the 20th WCBI. It was held in Kenya in the month of June i.e. from 23rd-27th June 2013.
The events along with their dates are given below:

Sun. 23rd June 2013

It was the last registration and arrival date for International Delegates.

Mon. 24th June 2013
Under the guidance of Special Guest of Honor, Delegates started to focus on the Financial Services.
Then the following events took place:

After breakfast the Final conference registration was done and the Opening Ceremony was conducted.
Local and International Stakeholders were acknowledged and group photograph was taken. Many of the issues related to the financial Services were discussed. Then dinner was taken.

Tues. 25th June 2013
Because of the discussion on previous day, many issues came into picture. They were resolved on this day.

Breakfast After breakfast they captured the changing talent requirements for financial services organizations
Feedback from all panels was taken and Special Guest of Honor addressed the group.


Wed. 26th June 2013

It was a social day.

After breakfast they all went to Wilson Airport and took a Flight to Kenya’s World Famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Played Game drives and after lunch and dinner took night rest.

Thur. 27th June 2013

Lastr day was a farewell day. Everyone departed from there.
