Dominica Academy of Arts and Science (DAAS) was established in November 2000.
The first President of DAAS was Dr. Clayton A. Shillingford.

Memberships:
There are 3 kinds of memberships available in DAAS

Regular : for any skilled or professional adult Dominican
Associate: for any Dominican Secondary School Graduate Student who is unemployed
Honorary: for non-Dominicans who must be sponsored by a registered member and also they should indicate their interest in and connection with Dominica.

Membership Fee Structure:

Students and Honorary members: - exempt
US, Canada, UK & European members: - US $40.00 per annum
Local Chapter members: - EC $40.00 per annum
